The STRASSMAYR BF 290 has been designed to solve all aspects of roadside work, such as road widening, hard shoulder work or cable and pipeline trench filling. All different types of soil, gravel grit and asphalt can be placed with the BF 290. The machine has a lay down capacity of 300 tons per hour and is the versatile machine for road builders and civil engineers.
It is fitted with a HATZ 2 G 40 diesel engine and has a powerful hydraulic system to operate the material belt. The strike of screed, individual angle of inclination, pavement thickness can be adjusted as well. The lay down capacity is hydraulically adjustable, as well as the angel of inclination, pavement thickness, adjustment for the trucks delivering material, etc.
